| The comprehensive practical activity curriculum which is a new one is based on students’ interest and direct experience, takes research-oriented learning as the main study way, and its target is to cultivate the innovative spirit, the practical ability and a sense of social responsibility of students. As an important reform of new basic education curriculum and one of the highlights in our country, since the comprehensive practice activity curriculum was incorporated into the new curriculum scheme, it has aroused the researchers’ attention, and generated a lot of research results in the concept and theoretical explore, but it also aroused the suspicion of some education practitioners and researchers. As a result, investigate and analyze the present situation of the implementation of the comprehensive practical activity curriculum, can provide reference for the course improvement and will be helpful for the further advance in the implementation of the course. This research sets Guyuan which lies in the western part of China as a sample; investigate the current situation of the implementation of the comprehensive practical activity curriculum in Guyuan city middle school. For the purpose of understanding the-comprehensive practical activity curriculum implementation status in NingXia province, and other similar areas which are less developed in economic and education from the situation of Guyuan, and to provide reference to the improvement and normalization of the course.This study adopts the method of literature, questionnaire survey and interviews survey to conduct an in-depth investigation on the current situation of the implementation of the comprehensive practical activity curriculum in Guyuan city middle school. Based on the survey, I summed up the achievements of the comprehensive practical activity curriculum in Guyuan city middle school, and point out the existing problems in the implementation of the course, analyze the causes of the problem, and put forward the improvement suggestions on this basis.The author found through the investigation that the teachers’ education concept and teaching behaviors had changed. Some teachers understood the connotation of the comprehensive practical activity curriculum, summarized a set of suitable for their own teaching mode by the ways of superior organization’s training, self study, and gradually groping in practice. Some junior high schools have gradually revealed the managerial effectiveness in the process of exploration.But the author also found many problems which can’t be ignored in the survey, including the management of the organization is loose, the course may not be implemented, evaluation mechanism lags behind, teachers lack of power, and the development of curriculum resources is not enough. The root of the problem are that the education administrative department is lack of attention and takes improper management measures; the school running ideas lag behind and is lack of management mechanisms; the teachers’ curriculum consciousness lags behind and they are weak in guiding ability; for lack of publicity, family and social support is not enough. In view of existing problems, this study puts forward strategies as follows:strength the management and supervision of the administrative department of education, improve various security system; schools innovate concept, manage comprehensive practical activity curriculum normatively; develop the curriculum resources of schools and local. |
