The comprehensive practical activity curriculum is a national compulsory curriculum which was stipulated in the new round of China's basic education reform in 2001.In 2017,the Ministry of Education issued the "Guidance Outline for Comprehensive Practical Activities in Primary and Secondary Schools",by which its natures,ideas,objectives,contents,methods,planning implementation,and management guarantees were well explained in detail,and which also provided a forceful guidance to ensure the full implementation of this curriculum.The comprehensive practical activity curriculum is based on the students' interests and direct experience,and takes various realistic,comprehensive,and practical problems that are closely related to the students'learning and social life as the content,and of which the main learning method is Research-based learning.The curriculum's main purpose is to cultivate students'innovative spirit and practical ability and to reflect their comprehensive use of knowledge.This paper is a monographic study on the implementation strategies of comprehensive practical activity curriculum in senior middle schools.This article uses the comprehensive practical activity courses offered by Wuhan H Senior Middle School as a case study.The author finds that this school attaches great importance to the implementation of the comprehensive practical activity curriculum,and it integrates the idea of comprehensive practical activity curriculum into the school running idea.As a part of the curriculum structure of the school,the comprehensive practical activity curriculum has fixed class hour guarantees,relevant system guarantees and diverse course resources including on-campus resources such as teaching materials,and off-site resources such as corporate visits and expert guidance etc.The curriculum forms are also rich and diverse,which have realized the comprehensive application of interdisciplinary knowledge.The school also opened up a platform for displaying achievements.The comprehensive practical activities curriculum of the H School has been carried out in a colorful and effective way,contributing well to the improvement of students' innovation and practical ability,the improvement of teachers' teaching and research guidance ability,the establishment of the school's characteristic school-running concept,and the realization of global and comprehensive development.At present,although the comprehensive practical activity curriculum in domestic high schools is being carried out normally,there are still many difficulties and problems in the process of curriculum implementation.The author summarizes the problems that existed in the comprehensive practical activity curriculum of H school and the problems obtained from the questionnaires about the teachers of the national comprehensive practical activity curriculum.After analyzing,the main problems are as follows:Insufficient of conceptual understanding,Hack of teaching staff,imperfect supervision systems,uneven teaching quality,and limited curriculum resources.In response to the above problems,the author puts forward ideas and strategies to improve the implementation of the curriculum:First,to deepen the understanding of curriculum concepts and focus on creating distinctive courses;second,to speed up the cultivation of professional teachers and improve the status of teachers who teach comprehensive practical activity courses;Third,to improve course management rules,and to achieve multiple evaluation;Fourth,to refer to the college students' innovative experiment plan to ensure project implementation and students' participation;fifth,to provide financial guarantee to jointly develop unique curriculum resources inside and outside the school;Sixth,to establish a display platform to promote the transformation of results and help the college entrance examination.
