On The Counselors’ Team Construction Of University In Hebei Province

As the backbone in political education and the guides of the university studentsin their growth, the political instructors play more important role than before. Inrecent years, the expansion of the universities, together with the complexmany-dimensional cultures and social problems in a changeable society, makes thestudents work much more difficult, which arouses the universities’ attention toconstruct the political instructors team. Due to many reasons, the work is still on theexploring stage with some problems to be solved. Thus it has become a topic ofgeneral interest to build an instructor team with good political consciousness, goodprofessional knowledge, strict disciplines, and good professional ethic.On the basis of the literature review and the current research status at home andabroad, the research chooses the instructors in the applied colleges in Hebei Provinceas the subjects and then collects the first-hand information of10of the colleges bymeans of questionnaires and field investigation. Through the analysis of theinvestigation result and questionnaire data, the current situation of the instructor teamis known, that is, it has a good development with improving policy, more systematictraining, and advancing protection. Meanwhile, the problems include the unclearposition responsibilities, the poor practice of the policy, the imperfect assessmentmechanism, and the unstable working team. To solve these problems, the research,under the guidance of related theories, draws lessons from the effective work of otheruniversities at home and abroad and then puts forward the solution to the constructionof the universities instructors team in Hebei Province, that is, we should take itseriously, implement the system without fail, define post responsibilities, strengthentraining mechanism, perfect the training ways and assessment mechanism, andexpand development platform.
