Proposition reasoning ability is one of the marks to reflect individual logic ability. In order to improve this ability, it is an effective teaching measure to explore the proposition reasoning ability differences between minority ethnic students in frontier region where they live.To explore the differences of cognition manners and culture characters between different ethnic students, by comparisons, natural experiments, observations, field work, mixed methodology of quantitative research and qualitative inquiry, this thesis aims at the differences of the proposition reasoning abilities of the six case students in No.1Senior School of Gongshan County in Nujiang state of Yunnan province. This thesis also tends to find the effects which the students individualities and cultural characters bring on the ways of cognitions and learning attitudes. Based on that, this thesis finally studies the concrete methods to teach students in accordance of their aptitudes.This thesis is mainly divided into three parts.Chapter One introduces the research background which is deeply related with the remote dangerous and hard field work in anthropology. Also it includes basic information of research objects and research tools and data collection process. Chapter Two identifies different cognition qualities of the case students by using linear, condition and scope proposition to count and analyze the data of proposition reasoning ability. Based on the quantized data on the characteristics of cognition and culture in living and cultural environment, combining the both scopes of subject&object in involved observations, this thesis compares the six case students’ proposition reasoning abilities according to their different cognitive and cultural characteristics.Chapter Three raises propositions of ways in teaching to suit special requirements of each student based on the combination of discount in case students geographical proposition reasoning abilities and specific cases of the three propositions. It also proposes suggestions on education administration and teaching according to the different manners of cognitions and learning attitudes affected by individualities and cultural characters.
