The new conditions to accelerate in the market economy, globalization, the knowledge economy, continue to serve the local economic and social development, is not only the basic functions of the scientific research and the basic task, is to continue the development of their own needs. As the world fourth times to portray the engineering education conference:"no matter in developed countries, or developing countries, continuing engineering education is the basic guarantee for its power developed."In developed countries, the United States of America typical Japan, Germany, Britain, the mode of continuing education are summed up characteristics of continuing education in developed countries, the continuing education of our country exists problem corresponding to enlightenment. Objective based on this study, this paper is divided into the following three parts:The first part:the education mode analysis to developed countries. According to the United States of America "cooperative education", Japan "industry-university cooperation", the German "dual system", the British "for alternate" continuing education pattern of pattern features. Summarized the developed countries to continue education similarities:Taking the school-enterprise cooperation as the main form, training target is of pertinence and practicability, broad participation of all sectors of society, the formation of diversified educational pattern, has the perfect education evaluation system, the market operation mechanism of education, education funding source much channel, continuing education law perfection etc.. This is the basis for further research and foothold.The second part:the education development status and existing problems of our country to. First from the education idea gradually win support among the people, the increase of the scale of system construction, strengthen the three affirmed in the continuing education of our country development. But there are still some problems:including personnel training mode of general education, the lack of market mechanism, theory teaching and practice teaching, combination of double-quality teacher shortage, school form is unitary, continuing education funding shortage, continuing education laws and regulations are not perfect.The third part:in view of the continuing education of our country existing problems, from the relevant experience of developed countries, puts forward some enlightenment:the establishment of the school-enterprise cooperation continuing education training mode, realize the market to continue to improve education quality, market mechanism, continue to strengthen teachers education following the practice of teaching content, continued education of open road, multi-channel school., construction of continuing education evaluation system, perfecting the laws and regulations of the government to improve the incentive mechanism of continuing education, continuing education, improve the implementation mechanism.
