The cultivation of students’ writing ability has been the highlight of the languageteaching, it can be said to occupy the "half" of language teaching. However, for a long time,the teachers and students spend a lot of time and effort in teaching and writing, but the effectis not obvious. Overall, high-school students’ writing level is still low, either hollow or similarof thousands of people. An important reason for this problem is that the students lack theexpression of true feelings and emotion in writing. In response to this problem, the paperquestionnaires to start from the high-school students’ emotion, combined with the theory ofwriting emotion and high-school students writing status quo, and analyzes the reasons for thelack of writing emotion of high-school students, and points out some solutions about theproblem, with the purpose of improving high-students’ level of writing.In order to be close to the educational practice, the paper takes the questionnaire method.The survey found that high-school students’ writing exist some problems, such as lowinterest in writing, inadequate motivation in writing, serious writing "aphasia".Theseproblems are due to the lack of writing emotion. Therefore, the Students’ Writing Emotionplays a big role in the high-school students’ writing. Combining with the emotional theory andprevious research, this paper tries to analyze the reasons and solutions about the lack ofwriting emotion systematically. Through the analysis, the reasons of lack of writing emotionare mainly in three areas: the education system, teachers’ teaching, and the student’s ownfactors. In the last chapter, the corresponding countermeasures for these problems and thereasons, including: the improvement of the education system, the improvement of theteaching method as well as the students’ own suggestions for improvement.In short, the high-school students’ writing emotion is a factor that can not be ignored inthe students’ writing, and should attract the attention of language teachers in high-school.
