With the development of society, the concept of sex is becoming more and more open. More and more college students experience premarital sex, which have influenced their life much. Many researchers realize the importance of this phenomenon, but few researchers focus on their mental process and psychical reaction. In this thesis, we illustrated them on the basis of relative study and a few interviews.The researcher uses "Purposive Sampling" to choose twelve college students whose ages are between18and23as objects of study to interview in depth. The information acquired from the interview is verbatim transformed into documents to proceed with collation and analysis.Then data are double-checked by the participants to demonstrate its authenticity.The results of this research are as follows:Firstly, the author illustrated the causes of premarital sex and divided them into four types, namely psychological comfort, material gain, reasonable decision and sexual passion.Secondly, the thesis illustrated the mental conflicts after the premarital sex in detail and divided the psychical reaction into three periods, namely the period of being shocked, agitated and quiet.Then the author gave some advice on psychological counseling about this problem to benefit the college students’mental health.College students are the excellent ones of the young. Their sexual mental health is important to their own happiness, it also reflected many questions about the Chinese sex education, and even affected the social harmony. Therefore the research perhaps provides realistic psychological debugging method to help college students out of the dilemma, and keep a healthy state of mind. The research could also bring some references to education and benefit the mental health of the college students.
