Research On The Use Of Games In Children's Music Education

Children grow up in playing games, so playing games is the eternal nature of children and embodiment of their primitive psychology. Games play an important role in the children’s lives. They are absorbed in the games and express themselves freely and naturally. They make full use of their imagination and man’s subjective initiative to fulfill their dreams of playing.As a general rule, children are commonly considered to be naughty and energetic. At the same time, music itself is similar to games. Both of them are full of entertainment. Therefore, it is one of the best choices to apply games to our music teaching. Games can help children to take part in the music lessons more actively. For one thing, it can help develop children’s interest in music. For another thing, it also can help teachers strengthen the children’s basic knowledge and skills.This thesis is aimed at explaining the application of the games in the music teaching and instructing how teachers can use games in music teaching effectively. At the end of this article, some principles about how to apply the games to the music teaching will be included.
