The Study On Montessori Material And Its Operational Approach

Montessori material that occupies a certain status in montessori education system, is the necessary material for teaching process. Its effect is immeasurable in children growing. It is the scientific regularity; It has the simple operation applying to the children in each age phase. The montessori material as the research object, the paper discusses the theories of the montessori material creating foundation, including psychological development of children "sensitive period","embryos period","periodic", and "absorption". Besides, the paper introduces three development processes of montessori material.Montessori material contains the design principle, mainly from the "islanding","self correction","interesting","scientific" and "social" the five aspects. Montessori material according to the content of the education is divided into sensory material; mathematics material; culture material; language material; everyday life and some common materials five aspects.Then, there are some functions and categories introduced. Montessori material in the process of actual operation strictly, not only has certain requirements on the surrounding environment, but also on the teachers’quality and curriculum requirements. Finally, from the aspect of the montessori material, the paper puts forward several suggestions of pre-school education in our country.
