Investigation Of The Basketball Referees In Henan Province

In the early1890s,basketball began to appear in sports industry.Only after a century has it become asuper popular sports activity all over the world,meanwhile, basketball also made great achievements whichmany other sports still can’t obtain yet.As is known to all,Coach,Players and Referee are3main parts to abasketball game, and these3parts gradually become more and more important along with thedevelopments of basketball.Often,level of a referee makes a difference on a game.With a basketballpopulation of billions,basketball game nowadays has become a most popular event in China.Thus,trainingbasketball referees becomes an important task if people want to hold professional basketball games orevents,besides,training good teams of excellent referees has been and will always be a significant project toChinese basketball.Located in the middle of China, Henan province has a common development ofbasketball.However,there are still many problems that should be faced with:low level ofbasketball,shortage of the Above national-level referees and some other problems.So far,some referees’quality and capacity still need improving.People doubt whether they can build good teams or not.In aword,the public are not satisfied with this current situation.In order to let the public know exactly right nowwhether these referees are capable of improving basketball games or not,the author of this article did aspecific research on Henan referee team.After many expert interviews,questionnaire surveys, webinvestigations were done,he analyzed the data he had got and got conclusion that there are indeed manythings that should be improved and should be changed.Based on these researches and his ownunderstanding of referee team, he gave some practical advice on how we should do to change thesituation.What he has done is just to make the Henan referee team better in the future and to to make thewhole society satisfy.Here are the main problems:（a）.An apparent gap of the above national-level referees still exists betweenHenan and some other developed provinces.（b）.Lots of work should be done to improve their Englishlevels.（c）.Some problems still exist in the mode of training and managing referee team.（d）.Significantimprovements still need to be made to appoint and to supervise the referee team（.e）.abilities of category Ireferees are not very good.
