A Student comment is a qualitative evaluation of the student comprehensive and individual state of development. Specifically, the evaluation subject is empowered to summarize the development status of a student’s overall quality and his personality in a certain stage in descriptive language, and then the comment will be presented in text form to the student himself or his parents and the educational administrative department.A Student comment is a relatively direct traditional method to evaluate the student performance in school in Chinese educational circle over the years, and it is also a job requirement in promoting high school students’ overall quality evaluation at present. The application of student comments in the evaluation of students’ overall quality mainly manifests in its role as a way of evaluation and results. The effective application of student evaluation in high school students’ comprehensive quality evaluation can guarantee the pluralism of student evaluation subjects, improve the scientific of students’ evaluation contents, standardize the implementation process and result application in comprehensive quality evaluation of students, promote the all-round development of students’ comprehensive quality, change the intrinsic mode of student evaluation, further advance the reform of high school student evaluation and effectively improve the education quality in schools.By systematically combing the related research, taking student comment as the breakthrough point, selecting ordinary high schools as the research target and using the method of documentary research, interview and other research methods, this research makes a more in-depth analysis of the effective application of student comment in students’comprehensive quality evaluation in high schools from both theoretical and practical level.This paper firstly reviews the development of student comments and the related contents, and elaborates the role of student comment in high school students’comprehensive quality evaluation and the characteristics of high school student comments. Based on this, the author carries out a status survey in the overall quality of students of several high schools in six cities,Zhengzhou, Kaifeng, Nan yang, Luoyang, Zhoukou, Xinzheng, and their counties, and then generalizes a conclusion that among the current ordinary high school students’comprehensive quality evaluation modes, the "level plus comments" evaluation mode, results in student evaluation subject loss, comment contents chaos, and difficulty in operating the evaluation process, and at last the author makes a factor analysis. Finally, on the basis of the previous theoretical analysis and research, to explore student comments in the effective application of comprehensive quality evaluation of high school students to achieve path, including the effective application of the concepts and principles of the students review high school students comprehensive quality evaluation, and practice strategy.
