| As a teaching method in the teaching practice of the United States of America,the case was usedifrstly from the Law School of Harvard University. Subsequently, this kind of teaching method hasgradually, especially in the process of the reform of basic education all over the world, become animportant teaching method and should be popularized by other disciplines. The characteristics ofgeography make it is suitable for the method of case teaching. The new round curriculum reform since2001,clearly put forward under the new curriculum standard of high school geography curriculum should’,paying more attention to the problem in Geography Inquiry",“focusing on the process of learning andassessment of learning outcomes with " the basic idea, advocated the learning methods of autonomouslearning, cooperative learning and inquiry learning, diversified, and the importance of the processevaluation reflect the development status of students, so as to change the past?’ heavy result light processâ€teaching evaluation model. In this context, the case teaching method into high school geography classroom,especially in high school geography teaching in part, is more favored by the majority of teachers.Based on the human geography case teaching experiment, through the analysis of the experimentresults, proposed the implementation of the process of case teaching generally include the students toparticipate in teaching case design, students’ reading teaching case, case analysis and discussion, caseteaching feedback and evaluation etc.. And further discusses the case teaching method in the formingprocess of students’ ability structure of function, according to the research results, the role of case teachingin high school geography in forming students’ memory ability was not significant, has a great role incultivating students’ ability of acquiring information, knowledge migration ability, comparative andinductive ability. On this basis, this paper tries to put forward the optimization of human geography caseteaching strategy, has the vital significance to the study of rich content and refinement of the newcurriculum reform and the specific practice guidance of the new curriculum reform. |
