The Human Geography teaching is still prone to superficiality, slogan and sometimes too policy. We need necessary reflections on how to meet the demands of the time through teaching methods reform and assessment reform.In accordance with the educational objective and the assessment requirements of "High School Geography Curriculum Standards",this article focuses on the relationship between the subject matter of Human Geography, the case teaching and process assessment from a theoretical aspect. At the same time, this article also tries to design a Human Geography assessment model based on case teaching and emphasizes the importance of achievement dimension.Chapter 1:"Basic concepts that involved" is to grasp the scope and directions of the study as accurate as possible in order to explain the main ideas clearly and properly.Chapter 2:"Human Geography needs to build its own assessment system" focuses on why Human Geography needs to build its own assessment system.Chapter 3:"Assessment for Human Geography learning" focuses on what kind of assessment Human Geography needs and how to build such a system so as to promote the learning of Human Geography.Chapter 4:"Case Teaching is suitable to subject matter and assessment of Human Geography" focuses on the relationship between the subject matter of Human Geography, the case teaching and process assessment.Chapter 5:"Assessment of Human Geography Based on Case Teaching" deals with assessment model in Case teaching and the key points to assessment design.Chapter 6:"Conclusions" lists the main conclusions and some personal suggestions.
