The article takes the case teaching as a breakthrough point, attempting to draw the attention of the general geography teachers from teaching philosophy and teaching methods and to the application of it. First, an analysis of the condition of Case Teaching's development is conducted, which has profited from the domestic partial case teaching research literature of recent years. And in the meantime, the connotation, characteristics, functions of Geography Case Teaching has been classified as well as its differences with the traditional teaching methods. Based on this, the necessity in the high school of human geography to use the case teaching is analyzed. Much of the emphasis is put on the organization and the implementation of Case Teaching in human geography teaching class, mainly from such two aspects as compiling the cases to implementing procedures. A Preliminary study of the evaluating mechanism of Case Teaching is also focused. Finally, the limitation of Case Teaching in human geography classes is proposed, together with the author's opinion of solving these questions.The article utilizes the Case Teaching's theory in concrete practice of high school human geography classroom instructions. A thorough discussion was carried on with the purpose of drawing teachers'attention to Case Teaching, and thus improve high school human geography class teaching.
