There inevitably exist interpersonal conflict In all kinds of interpersonalinteractions, The conflicts exist inevitably in the work, the life among junior middleschool teachers, and face threatening play a crucial role in the process of interpersonalconflict, Chinese junior middle school teachers take face(Mianzi) seriously,anddifferent types of Interpersonal conflict extend in their need to protect that ‘face’ playsa crucial role in dealing with conflicts. Based on previous theoretical and empiricalstudies, the interpersonal conflict process of junior high school teachers arediscussed in the level of individual. Following the logic line of interpersonal conflicttype'Perceived face threat'Conflicts handling style. The results are shown asfollows:1.self-compiled ‘perceived face threat questionnaire of junior middle schoolteachers has three dimensions: ability, interpersonal relationship and behaviormistakes. The result of confirmatory factor analysis shows a good model fit, and thequestionnaire also has good reliability and validity.2.junior high school teachers’ interpersonal conflict type, perceived face threatand conflict handling style have significant difference among different demographicvariable (gender and age).3.Each dimension of interpersonal conflict type are significant negative-goingpredicators of conformable、concessive、evasive and compromised type of conflicthandling style and significant positive-going predicators of dominative type ofconflict handling style.4. Perceived face threat plays the partial mediation role in the relation ofinterpersonal conflict type and conflict handling style.
