Study On The Orderly Political Participation Of Contemporary Chinese College Students Under The Background Of Globalization

The most distinctive feature in our society is Globalization which has important influence onChina’s economic, political, cultural, social, ecological and other fields. The political participation ofour citizens also exhibit many features influenced by globalization. Just like the coin has twosides,these effects have the positive and the negative hand. We should make full use of factors whichare propitious to let the political participation of our citizens go to scientific and orderly, and take activecountermeasures on the negative effects which are possible influenced on citizens’ orderly politicalparticipation by globalization. The young college is the most energetic group in the politicalparticipation of our citizens, the most expectative and representative for the direction of socialdevelopment, their thought of political participation is logos or not, scientific or not, the channel ofpolitical participation is smooth or not, whether the ability of political participation can stand for theoverall level of current China Youth Political Participation or not, it is the issue that our party, ourcountry and the whole society should pay more attention. Especially the influence of globalization to theorderly political participation of college students appears to new character and new trend that is worthyfor us to reflect,explore and research more.Based on the above reasons, I take questionnaire surveys on the five universities, there are ChinaYouth University for Political Science, Beijing Institute of Technology, Zhejiang University, ZhengzhouUniversity and Lanzhou University, total1000students. Got the first-hand information and then madetheoretical analysis. Finally taking this conclusion: the achievements of political participation need to beaffirmed, but there are also some problems: the sense of participation polarize into, part of utilitarianparticipation motivation and disorder political participation, participation effectiveness unobvious. Afteranalyzing the reasons caused by existed problems, I propose some corresponding strategy in this paper.I hope I can making some valuable suggestion to theoretical research and improving practical ability ofcollege students political participation.Because of personal ability limitation, we only in a certain range to carry on the discussion and theresearch of orderly political participation of college students, so there are still many problems and isworthy of further consideration.
