With expanding of the migrant workers population group, the problems of them have been drawnmore and more attention. The characteristic of the past researches is that they always focused on thesingle object, but integrated the related issues together. In order to understand the problems of migrantworks comprehensively, this study will transfer the single object to one migrant worker’s family.Through the thick description of the migrant worker’s family, I hope to do a clear explanation of thenature of the problems that the migrant worker’s family faces, so as to enable the readers to understandthe migrant workers’ families deeply.This study uses qualitative research method. In this study, I choose a critical case for my object. Tosome extent, it contains the features of the migrant workers’ families. It is a microcosm of the currentmigrant workers’ families. On data collection, I use field research to detect the everyday life of themigrant worker’s family. I use the method of participant observation and interview to collectinformation. Besides these, I also accumulate the texts offered by the family members. The purpose ofadopting the methods above is to reveal the nature of problems the migrant worker’s family face.Through the study I find the followings:First of all, in this study, to begin with the everyday life, and combine with the perspective of socialstructure and social and cultural change, I form the concept of “tear” from the data that I collectultimately.Second, through the dialogue with the macro-social structure, the concept of “tear” extends to othergroups and individuals that subject to the current limit of the dual social structure. Therefore, this studyforms a general concept on the current state of our society.
