Strengthening and improving the ideological and political education of middle schoolstudents, which is related to the healthy growth of the vast number of students, and moreclosely related to the future and destiny of the country and the nation. The mainstream of theideological and moral situation of the contemporary middle school students is positive andhealthy. Students’ ideological and political education continue to reform, but the current lackof middle school students thinking of ethics, current affairs weak awareness; middle students’ideological and political education is book tendency; schools, parents and society do notattach importance to the ideological and political education and other issues remainunresolved. This paper selects the Yandu area Y high school as a case. We conducted aquestionnaire survey of the ideological and political education to the students. Throughquestionnaires new problems of the current middle school students’ ideological and politicaleducation are the examination-oriented education system to bring the narrow intellectual goal,obvious utilitarian tendency values, students’ moral cognition and behavior out of line, middleschool students addiction, the duplicate content of middle schools and universities’ideological and political education and so on.For middle school students’ realistic problems of ideological and political education, thispaper according to the survey data analysis of Y high school, and found that the educationsystem is the root cause of these problems, and environmental factors as well as the deviationof students’ understanding of the ideological and political education is also an important reason.To address these issues and causes, and combined with the characteristics of the students’ physical and mental development and secondary education teaching rule, and thecorresponding countermeasures. To eliminate the problems fundamentally brought about by theexamination-oriented education. Firstly, in economic terms, increased investment of resourcesof the school education is a basic protection; Secondly, on the policy, the reform of collegeentrance examination system is the key. At the same time, to play the guiding role of familyeducation, to improve the awareness of parents’ education, especially the ideological andpolitical education. Schools, families and society should work together to strengthen highschool students’ ideological and political education, to achieve the goal of quality education.We should change the education system fundamentally, but also need to strengthen theconvergence of the secondary schools and universities ideological and political education. Theteacher should grasp the curriculum standards accurately, and to improve their professionallevel, to organize extracurricular activities. In addition, educators should be close to the actualdevelopment needs of middle school students, to give them more humane care, and enhancethe effectiveness of the Students’ ideological and political education, and promote them growcomprehensively and healthy.
