The development of the times and promote the reform of education, forcultivating the talent requirements of the times of the modern, countries in the worldare constantly the educational reform, is one of the new curriculum in china. A newround of the basic education reform is a big innovation to the traditional educationidea and the education mode, trying to comprehensively promote quality educationunder the new philosophy of education. Teaching material is the most basic, mostimportant, the most representative, the most important curriculum resources, so theeducation reform must first from the starting materials. In the requirements of the newcurriculum reform, great changes have taken place in the high school physics teaching.This paper selects the new physics textbook for senior high school pep in2003June the first edition of the senior high school physics teaching material and the old in2010April Third Edition (3-1) as the main object of study, from the design ofteaching materials in the background of the syllabus and curriculum standards,textbooks, teaching materials selection, the concept of the content organization mode,textbook the examples and exercises, textbook, textbook illustrations in aspects of thecomprehensive analysis and comparison. On this basis, summed up the differencesbetween the old and new textbooks, draws the following conclusion: with the timesnew material selection, embodiment of life; reflect the STS concept; strengthen theinquiry teaching content; set up a variety of column; illustrations, lively form; thecreation of scenarios, teaching content.Advantages by comparing teachers can understand the essence of the newcurriculum reform and new teaching material deeply, change to fully grasp the currenthigh school physics new textbook rich connotation and teaching materials, the use ofnew materials requirements under the new curriculum reform of physics curriculumgoal comprehensively implement to provide some reference for high school physicsteaching, and puts forward some suggestions.
