Peer Education as a new educational system and the means in our country, plays a certain roleto the four identity recognition,“four identities” is not only the national work requirement but alsobe the requirement of ideological and political education in Higher education. Strengthen the "fouridentity" education, related to the cultivation of successors to the socialist cause, related toconstructing a harmonious society, harmonious ethnic relations and national. In the dormitory ofthe minority nationality living with the Hans College Students, make use of the methods of PeerEducation, aim to strengthen the effect of “four identity”. Peer Education most from outstandingmembers of college students who are more easy to be accepted by the majority of students, make“Four identity" thoughts win more supports in the heart of the people, the ideological and PoliticalEducation become more effective and appeal, realize the complementary advantages and commoninternal growth, cultivate the social development and the talent needs of the country.Object of the research is the state of the “four identities” of the minority nationality livingwith the Hans College Students, card the materials of “four identities “and the peer education,From the perspective of peer education, under the call of national policy in Xinjiang, combinedwith the special circumstances of a University and the specific circumstances, using the documentanalysis and investigation method, first of all we get to know the overall situation, and thenevaluate the “four identities” of the minority nationality living with the Hans College Studentsfrom different perspectives which include the identity of China, the identity of the Chinese nation,the identity of the Chinese culture, identity of the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics.From all above analysis, we can come to the conclusion that “four identity” overall level is high, nomatter is the Han people live with minority students or Han students have a better understanding ofthe connotation of " four identities". In the analysis of the various dimensions of Chinese collegestudents, people live according to different nationalities, education time, preschool enrolled threeaspects of school type had significant influence on "four identity", through the interaction betweenthe peer influence, people with each other between Chinese college students, have a certain effecton "four identities".Finally, based on the reality of the Xinjiang, combined with the actual situation inUniversity to explore the minority nationality living with the Hans College Students as a form ofpeereducation, how to enhance the four identities".
