The Comparative Study Between Chinese And American Teacher Certiifcation System

Teacher certification system is the state shall practice a system of vocationalcertification, and it is the first threshold to become teachers. The United States is theearliest implementation of the national teacher certification system, teachercertification system in China started relatively late, and now choose China and theUnited States these two countries to do comparative research, due to the differentregime, the level of economic development and education mode of the two countries.Natural education between the two countries has attracted much attention in thereform of teacher certification system and each has its own characteristics.This article through the literature method, history method, comparative method,inductive method and the comprehensive analysis system to compare the similaritiesand differences among the teacher certification system in China and the United Statesand advantages and disadvantages respectively from teachers are eligible to apply forconditions in China and the United States, the types of teacher certification certificate,teacher certification examination system, teacher certification authentication andcertification standards, the effectiveness of teacher’s certification certificate andcertificate management system and so on has made the detailed comparison andanalysis. Combined with comparable conclusions, we can find teachers’ qualificationsystem of differences and similarities between the two countries and two countries thepositive effects of teachers’ qualification system in their home country and theexisting problems, as well as China’s national conditions, American teachercertification system for several enlightenment of China reform of teachercertification.
