The Chinese nation has a long history, which has thousands of year’s history ofcivilization. In the long history, as a unique mass sports fitness project with Chinese culturalcharacteristics, Diabolo is widely inherited and developed. Diabolo action is slow and deliberateand the slowly flowing movement is imbued with a passion for life. It is a sport which is suitablefor modern people in modern society.In recent years, mass sports fitness work has achieved remarkable successes in Shenyang.Bur the popularization and promotion of Diabolo needs to be improved. We should furtherincrease publicity and popularity of Diabolo, raise awareness of the necessity of mass sportsfitness, drive the national situation and then show the charm of Chinese nation’s traditionalsports to all over the world.The paper uses questionnaire survey, data statistics, logical analysis and interviews andother research methods. By surveying and researching the diabolo exercisers, the author makesthe following conclusions: the people who involved are mainly retirees, the male was higher thanfemale, groups spontaneously practice and people have arbitrariness; the initial involved factor isfor health and the ultimate goal of exercise is physical fitness and entertainment.The diabolo development has the main problems: management system is inadequate and lackssufficient attention from government leaders; population structure is irrational and facilities areinadequate; lack of propaganda and channels of dissemination is narrow; diabolo investmentbenefit is not obvious and the hidden value is overlooked; the number of Diabolo guidance stillcan’t meet the demand.To solve the above problems, the author proposes some developmental countermeasures.Improve mass fitness network and establish mechanisms for interaction with the sportsmanagement department. Expand the influence of Diabolo by means of communication. Increasethe exchanges and competitions of Diabolo and inspire people to participate so that diabologradually transits to an industry and lay a foundation for its widespread and development.
