It is an indisputable fact that China has entered the aging society.We need to pay more attention to the mental health of the elder,enhance their positive emotion and a sense of happiness,and it not only the old people's need,but also the demand of the whole family and the harmonious society.A lot of literature shows that scientific physical exercise is beneficial to promote the physical and mental health.In effect the development of the positive psychology,positive psychology of physical exercise and the future will be the main research field of exercise psychology,should pay attention to physical exercise on the localization of positive physical benefits,explore the traditional culture in individual projects the positive psychological quality advantages,explore its unique positive psychological value.In the background of "national health","national fitness",many provinces and cities developing the fitness activities with the regional ecological and sports characteristics.Diabolo,as the Chinese unique folk traditional sports,has a long history and culture.The characteristic of Diabolo is the flexibility,skillful,improving the health and performability.Today it still loved by the people,especially for the elder.The analysis of Diabolo Exercise on the elderly positive psychological benefits has important significance.This study adopts literature data method,questionnaire survey method,mathematical statistics and other research methods,the "physical activity rating scale","exercise-induced mood questionnaire","Pittsburgh sleep quality index","GWBS" questionnaire survey was conducted on 360 the elder to participate in Diabolo Exercise,all data using SPSS17.0 statistical software for statistical analysis.The research conclusions are as follows:(1)Most participants keep the Diabolo movement of moderate or low intensity once a day,each times lasting at least 60 minutes.There is no gender difference in the amount of exercise.(2)Participants in the Diabolo movement have a gender difference in positive emotion.The score of male participants is higher than women in generators at activity and keep calm.(3)Different ways of Diabolo Exercise(individual,collective)and the exercise level can make a significant difference in a sense of happiness,sleeping quality and positive emotion.Participants in large or moderate intensity collective exercise is better than the low intensity individual exercise in the sleeping quality,a sense of happiness and positive emotions.But there is no significant difference in large and moderate intensity exercise.(4)The quality of sleep and exercise were significantly negatively correlated.Large and moderate intensity exercise is better than the low intensity exercise in sleeping quality.Exercise quantity has a significant positive correlation with the happiness,the positive emotion,and the large and moderate intensity exercise is higher than the low intensity exercise in happiness and positive emotion.(5)Exercise time and frequency is an important factor in affecting participants sleeping quality and happiness.(6)Exercise intensity,exercise time and exercise frequency have an important effect on positive emotions.
