Since the implementation of the new curriculum, front-line teachers activelyrespond to it. Many teaching methods appeared in large numbers, just like flowers ofevery kind are in bloom. And problem inquiry teaching method does better in trainingstudents’ awareness of innovation, critical thinking and problem-solving ability."Problem inquiry teaching method " is a kind of teaching process in which theteachers and students create situations together, dig and induce different questions andideas, put forward hypothesis or questions, making the students learn to question, inthe form of a team or an individual, through active thinking and bold attempts. Thispaper, starting from the teaching practice of history, based on the learning of newcurriculum standard, the related theory and practice, studies the problem inquiryteaching method mainly from the following four aspects.The first part expounds the background and significance of problem inquiryteaching method from three aspects: the request of time, the needs of students and thepractice of curriculum reform, followed by an overview of the putting forward andapplication of inquiry teaching method in high school history teaching.The key to problem inquiry teaching method is raising questions. The secondpart analyzes and evaluates the different forms of asking questions: from teacher tostudent; student to teacher and student to student.The third part, the main part of the article, explains the implementation strategyof the problem inquiry teaching method in detail. This part is discussed from twoaspects: one is from the conditions of implementation to the integration of historicaldata, and then to the organization of the process; and the other is from the stepsteachers and students needed to implement in the process.The forth part summarizes the saying that “teaching methods are changeable, andthe fitted is the best ", so the teachers need to be flexible when using problem inquiryteaching method in their teaching practice. |
