The cultivation about Education Master’s degree graduate education in China is not long, and the study of Education Master’s degree course has not been mature yet. Curriculum design as the core part of one discipline has decisive roles to the success of education in the subject. The author takes Northwest Normal University as a case, and analyze current situation in Education Master’s curriculum design’s curriculum objectives, curriculum setting, curriculum implementation and curriculum evaluation by the questionnaire survey method. According to the characteristic of professional master degree education and the student interview found that:1.The current Education Master’s curriculum goal is relatively clear, complies with the provisions of the training objectives and conforms to students’learning needs mostly;2.The course content is relatively rich, and can achieve the objective in a certain extent, but also attaches some problems. For example, course content’s academic is obvious and practical and vocational guidance is weak; organization and arrangement of curriculum content is poor; Course structure is unreasonable, public required courses are too high, professionalism of teacher courses and professional electives are too low; theoretical courses exceed practical subjects. Different professional students’ selection and evaluation on course are based on their own professional learning needs; the selection and evaluation of the students which work in different place is also based on the needs of their own career;3.Teaching atmosphere is more active, but the implementation is not ideal; it performances that teaching conditions in schools and curriculum are imperfect; the way of teaching is single, case teaching and seminars desired by students don’t be carried out well; teachers’teaching skills needs to be improved, the guidance of mentor needs to be strengthened;4.Course evaluation process is relatively strict, but the way is single and ignores the process evaluation. Assessment thinking is in favor of examination-oriented, the appraisal standards needs to be refined.On the basis of these results, combine with the characteristics of Education Master’s degree graduate education’s development, and draw lessons from foreign experience about the design, the author put forward the corresponding proposal opinion:First, improve the content of courses, strengthen the practicality and advanced curriculum content; Second, optimize curriculum structure, strengthen teachers’professional ethics education; Third, improve the teaching work, pay attention to the flexible teaching content and innovation; Forth, positioning the inspection standard, strengthen the process evaluation.
