Since the first master degree of higher education was established in1981,after more than30years of development,China has a large number of doctoral,master’s degree in higher education.In order to response to the challenges of the new round of degree audit system,comprehensively grasp the basic situtation of the construction of Chinese higher education authorized postgraduate degrees,analysis the problems which existing in the construction of it,and discussing some appropriate policies,has become a improtant research topic which can promote and strengthen the construction of higher education authorized postgraduate degree.This research used questionnaires and internet survey,on the basis of recalling our degree construction of higher education,selective analysis the basic pattern of Chinese higher education authorized postgraduate degree constrution,the postgraduate education at this stage and the tutor construction in China’s higher education authorized postgraduate degrees.Judging from the establishied time,Doctor degree growth more stable,but Master have two peaks.From the geographical location,the establishment of degree and regional economic development and education developed are basically at the same level.From colleges distribution situation,more authorized postgraduate degree focused on higher level comprehensive universities and teacher-training colleges.From postgraduate training,the scale of graduate enrollment has downward trend in recent years,there has a large change in the structure of students resource,the student source quality become more satisfaction,and a good condition on doctoral students.From the tutors building,the quantity in all degrees can meet the national policy requirements.\Based on the investigation,the main problems existing in current Chinese higher education authorized postgraduate degree construction is:1)Graduate enrollment is growing too fast,leading to a rigorous employment situation.2)The structure of higher education enrollment are disorders.3)The student training quality is not high,and the tutor troops is weak.4)The life predicament of some higher education authorized postgraduate degrees became worsen.5)Low cooperation among the various authorized postgraduate degrees of higher education. In response to these problems,future construction of higher education authorized postgraduate degree can be considered from several aspects:1)Pay more attention to higher education discipline construction,raising the level of higher education research.2)With the standard of the first-level discipline to construction higher education authorized postgraduate degrees.3)Promoting database establishment of higher education authorized postgraduate degrees.4)Clear training objectives,recommend more phenom,and improve the quality of graduate students.
