As a special group of domestic college, college high level athletes have a dualidentity and two characters: students and athletes, shoulder the sports training andprofessional learning dual task at the same time. Different role orientation has a veryimportant influence on the individual’s behavior decision. Career decision making is animportant component in the personal behavior decision making, and it affects personalfuture career planning and development. Career decision making self efficacy is asubjective factor that affects individual career choice and development, and plays animportant role in the individual’s career decision making behavior. In foreign countries,it has a long history for the studies of college athletes’ career decision makingself efficacy and role identity. In domestic, although there are many people studyself efficacy, but it involves little with college high level athletes’ careerdecision making and the two kinds of identities role. Although there has unique scale onits athletes role identity evaluation, but there is no scales for studying high levelathletes’ career decision making self efficacy and students role identity. Therefore,whether from the theoretical and practical level, it has important value and significanceto develop the research of high level athletes’ career decision making self efficacy androle identity.Based on the analysis of the literature, the research mainly study the followingseveral aspects: First of all, reorganized the questionnaire, made it more pertinence,practicability and scientific, with high reliability and validity, which can effectivelysurvey out the state of high level athletes’ career decision making self efficacy and thestudents’ role identity. Secondly, analyze the characteristics of high level athletes’ careerdecision making self efficacy, students’ role identity and athletes’ role identity. Third,develop the deep research of the relationship between high level athletes’ students’ roleidentity and athletes’ role identity and career decision making self efficacy. Resultsshow that:(1)The adapted scales: the high level athlete career decision making self efficacy scale, students’ role identity scale both have good reliability and validity, and can beused as evaluation of high level athlete career decision making self efficacy andstudents role identity effective tool.(2) In addition to area, the high level athlete’s career decision making self efficacy,students’ role identity and athletes’ role identity all have significant difference in gender,grade, sports level, project category and sports life.(3)The high level athletes identify with its athletes role identification significantlyhigher than their students role. And it reflects in gender, origin, grade, sports level,project category and sports life all.(4)College high level athletes’ career decision making self efficacy has a extremelyhigh relationship with its students’ role identity and its athletes’ role identityrespectively. Role orientation, role adaptation and role expectation have significantpositive prediction effects on career decision making self efficacy.
