In the new century, science and technology are developing with our society at an unprecedented speed,In addition, they also exhibit a hitherto unknown penetration, integration and interaction. At the same time,education also faces to a wider reform, the new curriculum reform achieved a great breakthrough andinnovation in many ways. Integration of basic education emerged with the requirement of the society andthe development for students, has been popularized.In order to develop the scientific literacy of students, and help students to understand the nature andscience as a whole, integrated curriculum "science" covers the physical, chemical, biological, astronomy,geography and other aspects of the knowledge. Integrated science curriculum has been opened in manytest areas across the country, but so far it’s only in Zhejiang province which did not give up. The reasonswhy it failed in many other areas are mainly due to the teaching style and habit whose teaching contentsare divided into different subjects,and it’s too impressive to forget and hard to accept new things. It isinevitable that some new problems emerge in the reform process, we have to to face them with scientificattitude, and try to find the best way to solve these problems.This project plan to study one of these problems. It does not emphasize the connections betweenvarious different knowledge because of the characteristics of comprehensive for the junior middle schoolscientific curriculum in compulsory education stage. It pays attention to training the ability of studentsbased on the development of students. And it emphasizes the specialization and the system of curriculumfor the teaching of high school curriculum, which needs higher requirements for students although theirknowledge is based on curriculum in the junior high school. Inconsistent of teaching materials, teachers’and students’ attitudes toward different curriculum create many problems for students from junior to seniorhigh school. The effective connection of junior and senior high school is the main way to solve these issues.From the small part of the "element compounds’ connections between junior middle school and highschool", this project try to find the best strategy of connection problems in three different ways, such astextbooks, teachers and students. It reflected the actual problems we faced in teaching and learning subjectfrom the Initial questionnaire of teachers and students in high school, and has put forward the views andsuggestions on this connection teaching, they provide valuable first-hand information for this study. In theresearch process, Connection teaching cases which some teachers provided shows that if teachers can payattention to connection problems, make full use of good teaching materials, to guide students go throughthis special stage,. The connection teaching is not a problem and is a necessary process.
