The Application Of Fuzzy Mathematics On Suicide Research

The traditional research of the suicidology is in the field of biology and psychology,on their research, the suicide is treated as a kind of “disease”. French sociologistDurkheim is the first one who researched the suicide with the method of sociology. Heconsidered suicide as a social fact, which should use other social facts to explain.Hetreated the suicide rate as a research object, his research did not put an emphasis onindividual factors, and for this reason, the laters constantly questioned hisresearch,because of the neglection of the individual factors and the inaccurate of thedata.In order to solve the problems which exist in the Durkheim’s research, the latersmade every effort, such as redefining suicide, establishing new classification systems ofsuicide, but all these effors did not slip out of Durkheim’s theory framework, on acertain degree, is only a supplement of Durkheim’s suicide study.This paper is based on the study of domestic and foreign scholars about suicide,combined with the basic principle of fuzzy mathematics, based on the literature method,youth group for interview object, summarizing the factors that cause suicidal behaviors,establishing the evaluation degree of various factors. This paper is based on the threemain aspects of the biology psychology, sociology to analyze the individual’s risk ofsuicide. Come to the conclusion: in the youth group,18.1%of individuals with highsuicide risk,17.6%of individuals have a tendency to apparent suicide,26.4%ofindividuals have a normal state of mind,37.9%of individuals are positive upward andaway from suicide. With this high risk and serious problems, we need to take somemeasures to solve the trouble.Using the method of fuzzy mathematics to analyze the phenomenon of suicide, weskillfully contact the causes of suicide and the possibility of the suicide behavior. And inthis way, we can get a more scientific result, and at the same time, we can provide a newperspective for the study of suicide phenomenon. It has a certain practical significanceand theory significance.
