With the development of society, the accelerated pace of life, psychological healthhas become one of the basic standards of social measure of talent. For thepsychological development immature and middle school students, mental health is notonly related to the students’ individual normal study, life and growth, but also related tothe overall quality of talents in our country, achieve the goal of the comprehensiveconstruction of well-off society and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Therefore, mental health education model school construction is the key point of theresearch. Although scholars for research and exploration of school mental healtheducation model from different angles, proposed the psychological health education invarious modes, and use in practice. However, many of the patterns still exist manyproblems, it also has some limitations, in view of this situation, reviews and discussestheoretical issues related to mental health education model in elementary andsecondary schools is necessary.This paper should be of "mental health","the concept of psychological healtheducation" concept and "mode" concept to define the relevant concepts and analysis,the connotation and extension of the concept of the psychological health education. Onthis basis, prepare the interview outline, schools of Hefeng County sampling Wulingmountain area of Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, from the school,teacher staffing, class and mental health education activities, issues the specificcircumstances of the students, students dormitory interpersonal aspects of mentalhealth education model for interview, interview object: the school principal, director,psychological (life), the teacher dormitory administrator. Combined with other dataareas, summarizes the existing mode of psychological health education in primary andsecondary schools in Wuling mountain area of the problem. Analysis shows that, themodel mainly has the following several aspects: the first, the local education authority,insufficient attention; second, a serious shortage of local staff; third, lack ofpsychological education; fourth, the students’ psychological problems can not be foundin time; fifth, the society and the family is not enough attention. On this basis, analysisof educational and social resources in Wuling mountain area, build with Wulingmountain area characteristics of the primary and secondary mental health educationmodel. This mode, standardization of the related factors in order to achieve the Wulingmountain area of mental health education model, expectation model of mental healtheducation in middle and primary schools in Wuling mountain area and even the wholecountry in ethnic regions construction work has positive significance.
