In recent years, with our country’s economic development and the promotion ofinternational prestige, the global need of learning Chinese is increasing, and more and morepeople are learning Chinese. The Chinese education in Thailand has a long and tortuoushistory. Since2003, it has gradually revived, and enthusiasm in learning Chinese is rising.Thailand has become a country where the number of Chinese voluntary teachers is thelargest in the world. After a whole year’s Chinese voluntary teaching in Thailand, I haveaccomplished a thesis. And there it is.This thesis is studied by integrating the results of three theories, which are psychologyof adolescents’ idolatry, teacher’s charm and effective teaching, into one model, and createa new project which called “Teacher’s charm, idolatry and Chinese teaching in elementaryand secondary school of Thailand”, using some studying methods such as documentanalysis, theoretical integration, theoretical model and cases analysis. This new project canenrich and supply the former study results, expand the study of Chinese internationaleducation in theory, and has an effect on providing teaching thinking and mirror for overseaChinese teachers in practice.The main part of this thesis is constituted by two parts, one is the construction of theeducation theory model, and another is the analysis of specific cases. The construction ofthe model is based on the analysis of the study results of psychology of adolescents’idolatry, teachers’ charm and effective teaching, by analyzing the correlation, thehierarchical relationship and internal relevancy between them, and let the model be suitableto the practice of Chinese class teaching in Thailand, and with some principles be presented,which are pertinence, adaptability and appropriateness. The analysis of specific cases isusing the model to study the special cases in Chinese teaching in Thailand, in order to testthe theory model and provide a new teaching thinking for oversea Chinese teachers, as I hope.
