Objective:The purpose of this study was to monitor the biochemical indexes of Liaoning femalerowing athletes before the12th National Games in2013and to summarize the existingmodes of pre-competition training, for helping coaches understand athletes’ physicalresponse in time and adjust training program and training loads.Methods:18female rowers (height:178.89±4.67cm; age:23.7±3.6years; weight:70.84±7.25kg; in good physical conditions) who attended the12th National Games in2013are selectedas the subjects. Finger blood from these athletes were sampled at6a.m. on Mondays,Wednesdays and Fridays with a quiet, sober status and an empty stomach. After that, hemoglobin (HB),blood urea(BU), creatine kinase(CK)and testosterone (T) should bemeasured by a semi-automatic biochemical analyzer. At3p.m. on the afternoons of the firstSaturday and the sixth Saturday during the pre-competition training, athletes should takefinger blood sampling in multistage dynamometer tests, to measure the blood lactic acid(BLA) with a handy blood lactate tester.Results:1.Comparing the data for the first week with the data for the sixth week of thepre-competition training, it showed a significant difference in the following situations: whenathletes are in rest; when the power is240W,270W, and300W; when the athletes are inrecovery.2. Comparing the data for the first week with data for the second week, there weresignificantly differences in HB concentration. Difference between the second week and t thethird week was significant in HB concentration. The difference between the third week andthe fourth week was also obvious.3.It showed that CK concentration at the first week differed a lot from that at the thirdweek, the fourth, and the sixth week(P<0.05). CK concentration at the third week issignificantly different from data at the second week(P<0.01). CK concentration at the fourthweek differed a lot from data at the third week. Also, CK concentration at the sixth weekdiffered a lot from data at the fifth week(P<0.01).4.It can be observed that the BU concentration at the third, fourth and sixth weekshowed significant differences from the concentration at the first week(P<0.01).5.Compared with the T concentration at the first week and the fourth week, the fifthweek is very different(P<0.05). Data at the fourth week differed a lot from data at the thirdweek. Data at the sixth week differed a lot from data at the fifth week. Conclusions:Liaoning female rowing athletes before the12th National Games of BLA,HB,CK,BU,Treflects the effect of training and their functional response to training, the training ofathletes stimulated significantly, and that during the training period training plan rationallyand effectively, improve body function, excellent performance of great significance. |
