In the recent years, the state has encouraged and promoted college students’entrepreneurship, which made more students to join venture, and become a qualifiedentrepreneur. This was a policy measure to bring more employment, promoteemployment, and reduce the employment pressure, which solves the employmentproblem. It has become the focus of society attention that students’ independent venturebusiness realizes the value of their own. Design majors as sub groups of collegestudents have characteristics of strong practical ability, innovation ability, and creativethinking. Under the background of industrial structure adjustment, science andtechnology innovation, and the development of cultural and creative industry, designstudents have many advantages to carry out independent entrepreneurial practice. But ithas become the primary issue in the business practice of the current design students thathow they could take these advantages into entrepreneurial effectiveness.All local governments, especially in the Middle and East parts’ policy has mentionedclearly that the support for students’ self-employment on the innovation of science andtechnology, cultural and creative entrepreneurs is welcomed. And the formulation andimplementation of policy shows the preference for this type of business. However, thecurrent education course cannot meet the demand for entrepreneurial knowledge ofcollege students. It also cannot effectively arouse the awareness of entrepreneurship.The lack of experience in entrepreneurial practice brings about that entrepreneurshipeducation does not come along well with the students’ request on business practice,which places restrictions on the students that put their professional advantage inbusiness practice. These particularly have embodied in the design students’entrepreneurship practice. Although the ratio of design professional students’independent venture is at a high level, it remains some issues such as lack ofentrepreneurial ability, low level of entrepreneurial quality, and lack of entrepreneurshipmeans. The proportion of successful entrepreneurial practice is still at low level.Therefore, the exploration of entrepreneurial practice is the measure to innovate theentrepreneurship practice means and enrich entrepreneurial practice mode, whichbecomes the method of improving design students’ entrepreneurship status, and solvingthe problem of carrying out the practice. Most design achievement of projection fromdesign majors comes out from the problems of daily life, which makes this part of thedesign results have a certain market value. According to the features of the designresults, not only could the commercial transformation of design results realize theoriginal intention of the design, but also helps design students find the way toentrepreneurial practice. The process of transforming design results is the course thatstudents use their own conditions, policy conditions and other conditions to achieve theself-employment.
