The Roles Of Head Teachers In Junior High School Under The Background Of New Curriculum Reform

The teacher in charge is the body of the Junior high school education teaching andmanagement strength, and plays a very important role of guiding and leading in the process ofstudents’ healthy development. Because of requirement of the new curriculum reformbackground which strongthen students’ independent development, junior high school classteacher how to play the role of adapting to and meeting the requirements in this era of change,will become the new curriculum reform practice and the important subject of scientificresearch.Junior high school education requests that the head–teachers of junior high schoolshould have many abilities and can play many roles. The author researches the currentsituation of the role-playing of the head teachers; understands the teaching demands to them,aims and main contents. The author surveys many head-teachers and leaders of junior highschool to find out the problems and reasons which exist in the role-playing of the headteachers and points out the strategies which can strengthen head teachers’ role specialization,reduce the pressure of junior high school head teachers and improve the selection mechanismof the head teachers in junior high school, improve economic benefits and social status ofhead teachers in junior high school. The article provides good theories and practicalexperiences which can improve the head teachers’ role-playing abilities, and it is good forimproving the quality of junior high school education.
