A new round of curriculum reform brings about a profound impact on education in China. It completely changes the original curriculum system and concept, meanwhile, it is a huge challenge for the concept of teachers and teaching practice. Because of the increasing limitations of the traditional roles, as a teacher, the first and foremost task is to reflect and re-position our roles objectively, scientifically and rationally. Only playing the roles well, teachers can fully understand the concepts advocated by the new curriculum and ensure the effective implementation of the new curriculum. Therefore, on the background of the new curriculum theory, teachers must adapt to the demands of the new curriculum ideas and form the multiple integration of teachers'roles in order to finish the work well. In this paper, through the theoretical study of the implementation of the new curriculum for teachers to change roles and the surveying reports about the questionnaire between the teachers and students of the " high school biology teachers to change roles in the reform of the new curriculum ", we analyze the roles of high school biology teachers to the status quo at the level of the new curriculum reform. The results show that many biology teachers were not freed from the traditional curriculum ideas and knowledge systems facing the implementation of the basic education curriculum reform. Most biology teachers are very supportive of the concept of the new curriculum and have the sense of the changing roles during the implementation of new biological curriculum. Among them, some have put it in action. However, it is significant that the actual teaching acts lag behind the change of their educational concept. The main reasons : one, biology teachers need improve their own professional knowledge; the other, the grade and the enrollment quotas are still obstacles to transform the teacher's role. This research can guide high school biology teachers to change the role during the implementation of the new curriculum and provide the information and reference to faculty construction in the new situation.
