The generation of kindergarten teachers ’practical knowledge is a hot topic to the study of teachers’ professional growth in China in recent years. The point is the construction of practical knowledge of the subject area in construction of kindergarten teachers’ practical knowledge. Character education is specialized areas in the kindergarten curriculum. Kindergarten character theme teaching is a series of education activities that develop children’s cognition, emotion and character behavior through a plan of arrangement and selecting good character themes for children, which is with flexible, suitable activities and teaching methods and in a good atmosphere. Its design and implementation need abundant of character field teaching knowledge of character field. However the reason of constitute of these teaching knowledge as well as the possible generated way are not fully explored. The research not only takes a kindergarten teacher, who teaches for many years with practical character themes, as the research object to explore the practical knowledge generation and construction process of kindergarten teachers in the implementation of character theme teaching, as well as the current situation and existing problems of practical knowledge in character theme teaching, but also puts forward some relevant strategies to enhance their practical knowledge according to the problems of impacting teachers’ practical knowledge.To achieve the above-mentioned study purpose and make an understand of the kindergarten teachers’ practical knowledge in the implementation of character theme teaching and its development process, the research uses in-depth interviews, classroom observation, document analysis and other methods to collect data, and in-depth analysis of the collected data. The results showed in the following order: Firstly, to analyzes the construction process of the teachers’practical knowledge in the character theme teaching. Secondly, to make an in-depth analysis of the current situation, existing problems and Influencing factors of the teachers’ practical knowledge in the character theme teaching. Thirdly, to put forward some relevant strategies to enhance their practical knowledge based on the relevant theory of the character education and teachers’ practical knowledge:1) to change the habit of thinking of the character theme teaching and to enhance the ability to reflect;2) to establish positive character theme teaching and research mode both in the theory and practice;3) to establish community of character theme teaching to promote teacher cooperation;4) to put the character of teaching as the carrier, and strengthen school-based teaching and research,5) to perfect the kindergarten management system, and create a supportive teaching and research environment; and6) to make some recommendations to teachers in the follow-up character education teaching and research for reference.
