In recent years, the equal opportunity of education is a hot issue for concern ofin research of the education especially the field of Sociology education. The equalopportunity of education generally includes three aspects. They are the equalopportunity of entering school; the equal opportunity of studying in the school ofhigh quality and the equal opportunity of participation in the education process.Among which the equal opportunity of participation in the education process is akind of the equal opportunity of education which is on higher and deeper levelbased on the equal opportunity of entering school and the equal opportunity ofstudying in the school of high quality. It is mainly about microcosmic teachingactivities inside school. This kind of fairness asks teachers to give improvementopportunities to all the students both in the management of class and teachingactivities. The chances such as playing management roles, self expression in theclass, interacting with teachers, organization of class activities, representing of theclass etc. should be given fairly to every students in stead of being given to a few ofstudents for a long-term. This kind of equal opportunity can be the key field ofpromoting the equal opportunity of education at present and in the future in ourcountry. In this paper, the research and discussion of equal opportunity in educationprocess is carried on the method of questionnaire and comparative analysis.Through empirical research, we find the lack of equal opportunity in educationprocess more prominent in current school life hoods. This lack of fairness mainlyincludes different students achieving different management roles in the class, different students achieving different chances of interacting with teachers, differentstudents achieving different reasonable evaluations, different students achievingdifferent participation chances in the extracurricular activities etc.The lack of fairness opportunities in education process has negative impacts and negative consequences on many aspects. It not only hinders the establishmentof fair culture in schools and classes, but also seriously affects the formation ofgood relationship between teachers and students and the integrated development ofstudents. The reasons are complex and multifaceted. They include the misleadingof “elite” education idea, the limitations of the teaching pattern in the class and theunhealthy competitions among students. Besides, the deviation of teachers’subjective cognitions and the students and parents’ weakness rights consciousnessis also an important cause of the educational process in equal opportunity loss.In the current education field, the fair chance to enter schools has beenbasically achieved. The practice of studying in quality school is gradually unfolded.Although the problem of fairness opportunities in the education process has alreadyexisted in some schools and teachers’ teaching activities as a local practice, it hasnot attracted sufficient attention of teachers and schools. This problem needs bevigorously publicized, promoted, guided and encouraged. We should explore moreeffective ways to realize the fairness. It will take a heavy burden and embark on theroad of realization. Efforts need to be made to promote this kind of equity. Forinstance, the establishment of fair education environment and evaluationmechanism, exploring of teaching patterns, strengthening the construction of theteacher team, improving the teachers’ sense of fairness, teaching ability andoccupation moral, helping the students clarify their basic rights and improve thestudents’ awareness of rights and improving the perfect mechanism of studentrights protection.
