A long history, the impact of examination-oriented education, educators in the test scores of students concerned at the same time, seems to ignore the education of life. The meaning of life, the value of life, the meaning of life is lacking in some educational activities, which have attracted our attention. In this context, many experts and scholars began to study the theory of life education. And the language discipline has favorable conditions in combination with the theory of life education, plus the ancient poetry unique charm of the humanities, this paper is intended to explore the application of the theory of life education in senior high school Chinese classical poetry teaching.This paper consists of four chapters. The first chapter is the overview, mainly introduces the purpose, significance and methods of this research. The second chapter mainly introduces the theory of life education. Including life education theory to propose the background, domestic and international research and the implementation status of life education, life education connotation, characteristics, significance and theoretical basis. The third chapter introduces the combination of life education and high school Chinese classical poetry teaching the necessity, feasibility and implementation principles and strategies. The implementation principle includes the humanities principle, living principle and the principle of experience. In the part of implementation strategy with the life education theory and the senior Chinese ancient poetry teaching, introduces the dialogue teaching and experience teaching. The fourth chapter is the conclusion part, summarize the full text.In the teaching process of senior Chinese ancient poetry, the penetration of the life education, let the students in a relaxed and free atmosphere in the classroom, and the teacher of equal dialogue, enjoy the rhythm of life, to learn the principles and the survival wisdom, improve their aesthetic ability. Carrying out life education in the middle school Chinese classical poetry teaching, promote teachers and students heart and soul of the exchange, the integrity of the teachers focus on students’ life, and actively guide the students to establish a correct sense of life, realize the value of life, the pursuit of the meaning of life, realize their value of life.
