The development of the education informationization brings both challenges and opportunities to the global education.The integration of information technology and subject teaching is an important way of education reform in the21st century. Mathematics has close relationship with information technology. On the one hand, the development of mathematics is one of the foundations to promote the development of information technology, On the other hand, the rapid development of the information technology has changed the world of mathematical and the concepts of mathematics and mathematic education profoundly. Currently, researches on integration of information technology and mathematics curriculum have made considerable achievements,but in practical terms, after the mad pursuit in the initial, the integration of information technology and mathematics curriculum has gradually entered a "plateau period". Not only the theoretical innovation is becoming silence,but also the practice is suffering difficulties and doubts. In this context, we selected "application of information technology in Senior middle school mathematic teaching "as our subject, and woked from a practical angle.This study based on teachers’classroom practice, analyzed the application of information technology in the classroom with quantitative methods. From the perspective of the development and changes to reflect the application of information technology in teaching mathematics. Not only concerned about the development of teaching skills of teachers in information technology but also concerned about the state of mind of the teachers in the information technology environment.Through reading literature, analyzing lessons, and doing questionnaires we have mainly finished following tasks.First, examine and reflect on the process of the development of information technology application in the mathematics teaching,and on this basis to analyzing the effect of the development of application of information technology in mathematics education on classroom structure and changes in teaching activities.Second, research on information technology application status. This study collected a large number of teaching cases, analyzed the use of information technology in the mathematics classroom in four different angles, including, the type,the user, the timing and the purpose. Through the presentation and comparison of data results, sort out the deficiencies in the development process and the current state of technical applications. Third, investigated about high school math teacher’s mentation during using information technology in their teaching. Forth, proposed suggestions to optimize the use of information technology.The result shows that:The application of information technology in mathematics teaching in China has experienced three process, including, blind pursuit, reflection and question, exploring and exaltation,and we are experiencing the third stage now; The application of information technology and the development of teaching methods lack of coordination, the application is in a lower level and less exposed to the core of mathematics teaching; Teachers lack the ability to use information technology, The sense of uncertainty about using information technology in teaching mathematics is the primary factor that lead to teachers’ informatization anxiety; The PPT courseware has become a basic tool for classroom teaching.in view of this, we proposed to promote the development of teachers’ expertise for technology applications, deepen the application of mathematical professional information technology, promote information technology turns to learning skill. And at last we gives some measuresthe for using information technology to leading the student’s mathematical thinking and improving PPT courseware.
