The status quo of the coach team: Coaches fromTaekwondo gymnasium of Chengdu City are too young; the structure is reasonable butthe gap between men and women is obvious; most of them have got a bachelor degreewhile three percent of them have got a master degree; besides, the coach time of coachesis rather short and the technical level is not very high. Only thirty-five percent of themare professional coaches and fourteen percent of them are trained more than three times.The present situation of Taekwondo managers: eighty-seven percent of Taekwondomanagers of Chengdu have been working in this field; the number of men is much morethan women and the whole age structure is young; fifty-three percent of managers havenever been trained. The status quo of Taekwondo students: the students of Taekwondogymnasium of Chengdu City are mostly teenagers and it is more common in males; theprincipal motivation of learning Taekwondo are entertainment, physique-strengtheningand self-defense; thirty-three percent of students are not satisfied with their coaches,which demonstrates the teaching level is not advanced. Affecting factors: TheTaekwondo gymnasiums of Chengdu City are mostly organized for profits; there is alsonot perfect managerial system; backward management concept; the charging standard ofTaekwondo gymnasiums is not reasonable; the professional level of managers andcoaches is very low. Some counter plans are proposed: Humanized Administration on "people first"should be run through the whole course of sports management; The management systemshould be perfected and strengthened; Advanced management notion should beestablished to cultivate high-qualified managers; A rational standard of the chargesshould be established; Coaches’ professional level should be improved; Scientificmanagement system and an united team should be set up.Great significance can be seenas follows.
