Oral communication teaching refers to activities as the goal of teachingand learning in Chinese teaching in the proposed in2000in accordancewith the "Chinese language curriculum standard" to train students oralcommunicative competence. In twenty-first Century the situation changerapidly, flow and communication and interpersonal and more frequent, oralcommunication ability has been paid attention to by people, oralcommunication teaching are also increasingly highlight its importantposition and role. According to this understanding, Chaozhou city primaryschool Chinese oral communication teaching has not kept pace with the eraof education. In order to put forward some suggestions for improvementof oral communication teaching Primary School of Chaozhou City, throughthe literature research method, questionnaire method, interviewinvestigation and study status quo of the Chinese oral communicationteaching in Primary School of Chaozhou City, it tries to find the teachingproblems, preliminary exploration methods and solutions. The full textdivides into four chapters:The first chapter of the paper from the problem extends to the backgroundand the significance, the research content, literature review, includingthe theory and concepts, subject of the oral communication teaching.The second chapter introduces the occurrence, development and currentsituation of Chinese oral communication in primary school teaching inchina.The third chapter through the investigation of Chaozhou city on fiveprimary school Chinese teacher and students, and on the basis of the surveyresults summarized the status quo of Chinese oral communication teachingin Primary School of Chaozhou City: oral communication courses exist inname only, a working did not get attention, there is a blind area of oralcommunication teaching, curriculum and teaching open exam-orientated, class size.The fourth chapter tries to propose solutions to the problem: calls forthe administration department’s attention, regular teacher training,oral communicative course into the evaluation system, establishedevaluation system reasonably, to construct the local curriculum standards,the preparation for the local independent oral communicative teachingmaterial, the full development of classroom resources, reducing the sizeof classes, the combination of family education and school education.
