With the development of modern society, culture is increasingly diverse, resources more abundant, this aspect has greatly improved the adolescent students’ learning and living conditions, but at the same time also brought negative influence to their physical and mental growth. At the same time, the sense of life education in schools, families and society is relatively weak, led to the ability of parts of students consciousness in harmony, understanding of the value of life and man and self adjustment problems has insufficient. Such as individualism hedonism, money worship, dutch act, randomly waste and so on. Therefore, it is very urgent to carry out life education.The concept of life education is first put forward by the American scholar jay Donna walt put forward in1986, life education is a kind of care about students’ individual life education, it include rich theories basis and philosophical basis. This article mainly is that the study of the junior high school life education, with Yangzhou JW middle school life education to carry out the present situation as the main research object, First of all, the connotation of life education of junior high school makes a scientific definition, including know life, cherish life, love life and respect for life; Secondly, this paper briefly introduces the general situation of some developed countries and Hong Kong and Taiwan life education, and the effective method to carry out life education made brief introduction; Thirdly, the article focuses on the investigation about the present situation of junior high school life education, include that for students, teachers and the school itself in the process of life education to carry out the detailed survey on current situation and problems, such as the survey of students’ life view, life satisfaction survey of teachers, and school life education practice base of the investigation, and so on. Investigation mainly adopts questionnaire, interview and observation methods such as investigation, with three different line table and a chart to show the survey results.Relatively speaking, life education starts late in our country, western countries life education has developed rapidly, both in theory and practice experience, and project activities had achieved good results. Our country is mainly in Hong Kong and Taiwan areas,its life education practice had a good grades. The end of the article is mainly in view of the problems arising from the investigation, based on investigation the problems put forward four Suggestions, such as the training of professional teachers, to implement the joint, to strengthen the construction of school system and the advanced experience of developed countries and Hong Kong and Taiwan, etc.
