The21st century is the era of accelerated development in science and technology, and knowledge will be aging much faster. With the continuous development of network and information technology, the society has put forward a higher requirement for talent. Social competitiveness become an important indicator to measure the ability that a person adapt to the society, learning ability reflects the core of a person’s social competitiveness, therefore, to develop individual learning ability is an inevitable requirement to improve one’s competitiveness. Theory of learning ability has a significant effect to enhance knowledge and skills, communication, cooperation, innovation of the members of the organization, these capabilities is required for students in currently education, learning ability theory conform to the trends of education, and points out the direction of education reform currently, so to develop the student learning ability is important. The study proceed from the inadequacies of students’ learning ability, proposes a series of teaching suggestions and strategies designed to enhance students’ learning ability, I hope these suggestions and strategies would provide a reference for education reform and development. In this paper, totally six chapters, make a systematic exposition to increase students’ learning ability of senior high school in physics, The first chapter deals with the background, meaning and purpose of research, succinctly describes the concept of learning ability. The second chapter deals with the theory of learning ability, including the origin of learning ability-Fifth Discipline theory, as well as some achievements about learning ability which establish on the basis of the theory of The Fifth Discipline at home and abroad. The third chapter discusses the theoretical basis to carry out the education of learning ability, including the disciplines of psychology, education and physical characteristics, these theories indicate launching the education of learning ability in physics is reasonable, meaningful. The fourth chapter describes the survey report of learning ability. According to the four elements of learning ability-motivation for learning, learning perseverance, ability to learn, learning creativity, we have prepared a questionnaire. We analyze the condition of the senior high school students’ learning ability in physics with valid questionnaires collected, elaborate the importance of improving students’ learning ability. The fifth chapter discusses strategies to enhance senior high school students’learning ability in physics. This chapter, starting from six important factors affecting the physical education (including physical curriculum reform and development, evaluation of education, teachers’ teaching psychology, students’ learning psychology, social psychology, campus learning environment), we analyze existing problems in the teaching by using systems thinking. with the principle of analysis based on the specific problem, we discuss strategies that how to improve senior high school students’ learning ability in physics, mainly including to enhance students’ interest, awareness, the ability to search and apply information and so on. The sixth chapter elaborates a case that how to improve senior high school students’ learning ability in physics on actual teaching. We use teaching methods to enhance students’ learning ability in an experimental class, after the end of the experiment, comparing the similarities and differences of experimental class and control class in teaching methods, teaching effect, the test results, students’ feeling, we have found teaching in experimental class achieves the desired effect, students’ learning ability have improved to some extent. We make a brief summary in the end of this chapter, and point out the inadequacies of this study.
