The sustainable development of economic and society in our country improvedthe people’s material and cultural well-being, it is likely to lead an decrease in thetime of physical activity or other several problems simultaneously. The mostsignificant is the youngsters. Within the recent20years, there is a sustainable decreasein the constitution and Health of the juvenile students in our country so that improvethe constitution and health of juvenile students with the efforts from all sides isneeded for solving the problem. And this is the responsibility of PE teachers whowork for the school physical education. Broadly speaking, the teacher training isteacher education, and it was called pedagogical education before. It containspre-service teacher training and in-service teacher, the in-service teacher training wascalled continuous education for teachers in narrow terms. The content of teachers’training includes promoting teachers’ professional, academic and characteristicdevelopment by providing the integrated and uninterrupted experiences and activitiesof learning.This thesis based on several solutions, the main methods included literature,designing questionnaires, field survey, statistical analysis and logical analysis. Thecontrast analysis on the content and methods of the In-service Elementary PE teacherstraining between Japan and Shanghai city, and the feedback for the effects,suggestions of training. Through the comparative study, finding the characteristics ofteacher training in different countries and get further understanding about the teachertraining between two countries, providing reference for in-service elementary PEteacher training in ShanghaiThe conclusion shows that the Pre-service elementary PE teacher trainingcourses in China is short on the training of PE teacher related practice ability.Compare with the content of in-service elementary PE teacher in Japan, the content ofin-service elementary PE teacher in Shanghai is short on the clear and detailed plan,mostly lacked variety. The elementary PE teachers in Shanghai prefer to gain moreknowledge from the practice of PE courses and the most important problem is there isno relationship between the teacher and student.Based on the conclusion above, the suggestions as follows:1Strengthen the legalization of in-service PE teacher training.2Emphasize the practical and comprehensive relationship between the content andpractice. And introduce the new methods for knowledge.3Enrich the content and methods of in-service PE teacher training.4Perfect the examination systems of the in-service PE teacher training.Expect to provide references for researchers and experts of in-service PE teachertraining.
