In recent years, our country’s curriculum reform is beingcarried out. Textbook as the carrier of course, gradually causethe attention of people. How to write textbooks to suit to thestudents, become the most importance thing to the writers. Howto use textbook effectively become front-line teachersconfusion. The author based on the consideration of these twoissues, compared Japanese junior middle school physicstextbook “the world of science” with “physical” of Chineseedition of junior middle school in Shanghai and carries on thepractice research. To summarize laws, found the problem, putforward suggestions for the writers and front-line teachers inour country.This thesis mainly consists of two parts. The first partis about the textbook’s meticulous comparison, the authorselected the knowledge content, activities columns andillustrations to compare. To summed up the textbook’sdifference and their respective merit between China and Japan,thus we can have a overall impression from the great level oftextbooks between China and Japan. In the process of overallcontrast, I found many materials of Japanese textbooks is verypractical and beautiful. So in the second part, the authorstudied the theory and practice of materials. To select twotypical materials of“the world of science”to study and go tomiddle school to carry on the practice research. Through theanalysis of the practice research results found that theJapanese textbook has a lot of materials accord with our juniorhigh school students’ psychological development, can promote to physical study. In view of the above research results, theauthor arrange the excellent materials in “the world ofscience”, looking forward to give front-line teachers morehelp. Finally, put forward the textbook’s write opinions andsummarized the full text.
