The parent-child relationship is the first generation of individualself-generated interpersonal relationships. It has an irreplaceable impact on thedevelopment of the individual’s physical and mental, the formation of social behavior,as well as the generation of self-awareness. The relationship between parents andchildren in a junior high school stage showing the new characteristics. We use analysisof literature research methods, comparative research methods and case researchmethods. Take three junior high students of Guangzhou XX high school for example,and do the relative research on relationship issues of children and parents relations, wehope to establish a harmonious parent-child relationship and promote individualdevelopment.This paper is divided into four parts:Part I: Introduction, including the background of the research, the purpose andmeaning of the research, the research status quo of relations between junior highschool students and parents at home and abroad, ideas and methods of the study, anddefinition.Part II: The theoretical basis of the research, we discussed the relationshipbetween the junior high school students and parents based on the theory ofphilosophical, pedagogy and psychology.Part III: The status quo analysis on the relationship between junior high schoolstudents and parents. Take three junior high students of Guangzhou XX high school for example, we explore the status quo of relationship between junior high school studentsand parents, the new characteristics of the relation and the reasons of junior highschool students’ problem behavior by survey interview research methods.Part IV: The construction of the harmony relationship between junior high schoolstudents and parents, the harmony relationship can be formed by three levels education:family education, school education, and community education. On the one hand,highlights the central position of family education in improving the parent-childrelationship, on the other hand we also should not neglect the role of the coupling ofthe three forms of education.
