Situational teaching method is adopted to improve theteaching is a good way to realize the goal of the new curriculum, so it has been more and morethe history of the teacher’s attention.The application of situational teaching method in junior middle school history teaching,help students to actively participate in classroom teaching process; Helps to improve students’positive thinking, active exploration, the independent learning ability; Helps to give full play tostudents’ main body role, so that the students become the master of learning. Mainly from the constructivism theory, principle of the interactionbetween the emotional and cognitive activities, thinking science, the similar principle, principleof intuitive and migration theory, the essay discusses five aspects.The third part, for the application of situational teaching method in junior middle schoolhistory teaching principles. Mainly from the scientific principle, objective principle, the principleof interest, heuristic principle, value principle in five aspects.The fourth part, the situational teaching method in junior middle school history teachingways and methods of application. Mainly from the language, visual AIDS, multimedia, roleplaying and music five aspects is discussed.The fifth part, the situational teaching method applied in the junior middle school historyteaching should pay attention to the problem. From the focus on the purpose of the establishmentsituation, avoid "to"; Give full play to the guiding role of the teacher, teacher of avoid by allmeans "do"; Establishment situation throughout, avoid "anticlimactic"; Establishment situationyour "essence", not "how", etc.
