Relationship Between Lief Events And Personality Among College Students In Jilin Province

Abstract/Summary:
Objective:College students’ mental disorders have become a kind of common disease,frequently-occurring disease, which not only directly affect their normal study and life,also seriously threaten the security and stability of school and society. Forcontemporary college students’ personality and real life, to understand the currentsituation of college students’ personality traits and life events, and find the correlationof college students’ personality traits and life events, proposed suits our countrycollege students’ personality characteristics of the mode and methods of psychologicalhealth education is very necessary. This study by understanding the condition ofcollege students’ personality traits and life events, and to explore the relationshipbetween personality traits and life events, and put forward effective Suggestions, inorder to managers in colleges and universities provide a reference basis in the decisionmaking.Methods:In the form of questionnaire on behalf of a university in Jilin province, fourcollege students of different subjects to investigate. General situation questionnairemainly includes gender, age, major and grade, psychological scale includingadolescent life event scale and eysenck personality questionnaire.Application of Microsoft office Excel2007and SPSS18.0software package fordata processing and statistical analysis, using T test, analysis of variance and LSD test,Spearman rank correlation analysis and other statistical analysis methods.Results:Gender difference of college students in interpersonal relationships, learningpressure, punishment, the other differences have statistical significance (p <0.05); Different grade of college students are punished in interpersonal relationships,learning pressure, difference has statistical significance (p <0.05); In addition tohealth adapt to this on the one hand, college students of different disciplines ininterpersonal relationships, learning pressure, punishment and loss and other aspectsof the differences were statistically significant (p <0.05).The gender of the differences of college students, extroversion and neuroticismhave statistical significance (p <0.05); The difference of different grade students,extroversion and neuroticism has statistical significance (p <0.05); In addition to theneurotic that on the one hand, college students of different disciplines, both inside andoutside to, mental quality, conceal sexual differences were not statistically significant(p>0.05).Correlation analysis results show that the interpersonal relations factors andinside and outside to, neuroticism, conceal sexual relationship with scores werepositively correlated (p <0.05); Learning pressure inside and outside factors and to,neuroticism, conceal sexual relationship with scores were positively correlated p <0.05); Punishment factor and neuroticism, psychoticism and masked scores werepositively correlated relationship (p <0.05); Loss factor and neuroticism scores werepositively correlated (p <0.05); Health factor and neuroticism, psychoticism and hidesexual relationship with scores were positively correlated (p <0.05); Other factorsand inside and outside to, neuroticism, psychoticism and masked scores werepositively correlated relationship (p <0.05).Conclusion:1. Male students are more vulnerable to interpersonal relationships, learning pressure,punishment and other effects of these factors.2. The first-year students in the aspect of interpersonal communication, study pressureare less than other grade.3. The neuroticism score lower than other disciplines of engineering student.4. Medical students and engineering students in interpersonal relationships, learningpressure, punishment and loss of the stress of the four factors to a greater extent thanother disciplines students. 5. College students’ life events were correlated with personality traits.
