Aesthetic education is about the perception improvement, with intuitive and image characteristics, giving pleasure to the senses and the mind; Aesthetic education isabout the judgment development, it develops a kind of reflective judgment ", which is the combined result of a variety of psychological factors and functions in the human body; Aesthetic education is about the training of understanding, it needs to tap people’s imaginal thinking on the basis of perception, is the negation and surpass of rationality; Aesthetic education is the cultivation of the imagination, by processing internal object which has already existed, is a subjective inner mental activity. Firstly, great features of aesthetic education is reflected in the individual’s own internal harmony, on the one hand, it contributes to the integrity of the individual character and promotes individual emotional and rational unity and coordination of cognition, emotion and willing, on the other hand, it contributes to the development of individual creativity. Secondly, it is reflected in the harmony of human and nature, and helps the formation of the aesthetic vision to enjoy the natural and promotes harmony between human and nature. Finally it is reflected in the harmony of human and society, on the one hand helpful to human socialization, and promotes the development of individual social.on the other hand, helps to promote communication and exchanges of people. However, there are still some problems in the current aesthetic education, such as value orientation marginalized, economic measure, reflected in the insufficient attention paid on the value of the social "beauty", there is deviation in the views of students’ aesthetic education. And the status of curriculum is weaken, there is lack of hardware and software equipment, it’s unhappy in carrying out the current school art curriculum, there is also uneven regional development, and the aesthetic education teachers may not be professional. These problems are mainly due to school education’s utilitarian orientation; society is taking economic construction as center, which impacts the school choice for aesthetic value; deviation understanding of the aesthetic connotation, inadequate understanding of the aesthetic concept, the aesthetic quality of teachers is not high; there is a lack grasp of the aesthetic formation law, and it ignores the human’s’inherent scale’and students’ inner emotional experience. Therefore, the school should be concerned about the students’ internal needs of beauty, and should pay attention to aesthetic function; The school should adhere to the art curriculum go hand in hand, to improve the overall quality of teachers; develop students’ aesthetic sense and imagination, increase activities and games.
