The Design And Implementation Of Security Campus Communication System For Colleges And Universities

After years of the enrollment expansion of colleges, the quantities of students areincreasing and campus scales are expanding in all colleges.How to develop themanagement work of school becomes a common problem that all college administratorsare facing. The security work is an important part of the daily management in collegesand universities.The effectiveness of security work is directly related to the students’personal safety, and it is also related to whether the daily teaching work can beconducted normally. Focusing on the study of the BeiHai Vocational College, the authordiscusses how to make use of information technology in the service of securitywork,and to change the security form from "civil defense" to "technical prevention”with the purpose of creating a safe and harmonious campus environment.This thesis mainly describes the design and implementation of college campussecurity system, and puts forward the plan of multi-tier architecture system plan basedon Visual Studio platform and SQL Server database.The system is developed by theplan that includes power control, mobile patrol and Safety modules.Power controlmodule provides a power remote control mechanism,the user can control powerremotely through a traditional computer terminal or mobile terminals, and also, it cansave the human cost and improve the efficiency of the power management work. Mobilepatrol module provides the function of reporting and dealing with the problems. Thesecurity personnel can input information through the mobile client, and the system willreport to the security center automatically. The security officer needs to determine thenature of the problem, and gives a feedback of processing.The application of thisfunction can make the problems reported and handled in time, and avoids potentialunsafe factors effectively. Safety warning module can give an early warning to thesecurity center,and eliminate and response safety problems timely through the front-enddata acquisition unit. The thesis gives the work content of each phase according to thesoftware’s life cycle. At first, the thesis introduces the background and research status ofthe subject.It also reviews the information collection, transmission and web technology.Based on the requirements of function and performance, the thesis discusses the overallarchitecture of the system,giving the plan of network logic structure and database design.Finally, the thesis mainly introduces the design and implementation process of these functional modules such as the power control, mobile patrol, safety warning, etc., withintroduction of test methods for the system.At present, the university campus security system is running in BeiHai VocationalCollege. The practical application of the system has significant effects in improving theefficiency of campus security, and promoting teachers’ and students’ satisfaction for thesecurity work.
